Yet another NFT project (non-fungible tokens) project in New York City is all looking forward to benefiting the lives of little children in Ukraine who have been affected because of Russia’s invasion of the country.

the littles, an NFT project promoting fun, inclusion and humility, will innovatively turn the virtual into physical by debuting statues throughout New York City of “Jojo Bear” – the main character in both its NFT collection and its upcoming animated children’s TV show co-created by TIME Studios. Visitors can check out these statues from June 20 to June 23 outside Shopify NYC: 131 Greene St, New York, NY 10012 and at other locations to be announced soon on the littles’ Twitter (@thelittlesnft) and Discord pages (discord.gg/thelittles).

“Jojo Bear” will be traveling throughout the entirety of the NFT. NYC conference from June 20-23rd to different NFT events and landmarks all around NYC as part of #jojosadventure Treasure Hunt campaign. At NFT.NYC, the littles’ founder Wil Lee is invited to speak about “the steps in creating a successful NFT series.”

By engaging with these statues, along with corresponding posters in NYC and American Eagle’s billboard in Times Square featuring “Jojo Bear,” people can participate in #jojosadventure and be entered to win up to $4,000 in prizes. There are two ways to play:

  1. Selfie Challenge: the littles is giving $100 to 10 lucky winners who scan the QR code on the statue, poster or billboard, and Tweet a selfie with Jojo Bear with the hashtag #jojosadventure. the littles is donating $1 to Kidsave (501(c)(3)) for every selfie posted, which is rescuing children and families in Ukraine and providing humanitarian aid.
  2. Treasure Hunt: Tap a statue base with your phone to collect a free POAP NFT (a different POAP NFT is on offer every day from June 20-23). Collecting all 4 POAP NFTs enters you to win these Treasure Hunt Prizes:
  • $1,000 and the littles NFT (1 winner)
  • $500 and the littles NFT (1 winner)
  • $250 in the littles Merch and the littles NFT (1 winner)

Lee said, “We’re excited to make the world of NFTs more accessible and approachable with this not-so-little activation, while giving back to children in dire need. Our daughter Jordyn always appreciates and enjoys the little things in life with her raw, can-do attitude. To me, this is the purest form of happiness – the root of all of us. The teddy bear form of the littles is inspired by my daughter’s favorite toy, so what better way to honor her than to create a series inspired by it. the littles’ mission is to remind others of long-forgotten moments of pure joy and aspire to become the Mario of Web3.”

“I have gotten to know Wil and the littles community over the past few months and love our shared values. Personally, I am thrilled TIME Studios will help develop Wil’s creative vision from the blockchain to the big screen!” said Keith Grossman, President of TIME.

On the other hand, amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and its subsequent destruction of Ukraine’s architectural marvels, museums and other cultural sites, Ukraine plans to digitize and use NFTs for every single piece of art or history announced by the President of the Blockchain Association of Ukraine, Michael Chobanian. This has been done to immortalize and save its architectural marvels, museums, and other cultural sites.
