It asked investors to make their choices in “full awareness, verifying in advance that the websites through which they make the investment can be attributed to authorized subjects.”
Binance is also localizing its operations to comply with local regulations wherever it operates, it said.
The company has advised Ontario-based users to close out all active positions and gave them until the end of the year to withdraw their funds.
The FCA does not regulate cryptocurrencies but requires exchange to register with them. Binance has not registered with them.
