Bye Bye Plastic Bags’ launched its first-ever Impact-NFT collection in partnership with Purpose Art, called the “Plastic-Free Collection.”  Bye Bye Plastic Bags organization, founded by Sisters Melati and Isabel Wijsen, aims to get people to refuse single-use plastic bags.

Here’s what we know:

Impact NFT if purchased through Purpose Art will give away 40% of the revenue to Bye Bye Plastic Bags with the aim to build a world free of plastic bags through education, campaigns & political meetings. And another 40% to Aqil, the artist behind the “Plastic-Free Collection.”

Purpose nurtures their artists with all of the resources they require to develop concepts that are appropriate for each organization thereby empowering anyone to contribute to the fight against plastic pollution by purchasing Impact-NFTs, allowing for donation through art.

Purpose plans on working with over 300 other social enterprises & NGOs around the world to help them raise funds through Impact-NFTs to fight pressing global challenges.

On May 4th early this year, Bye Bye Plastic had also unveiled the carbon negative $BYEBYE social token that would later be launched on web3 community platform Socialstack, during the International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza. The announcement was made in association with acclaimed international DJ, producer, activist, and Web3 entrepreneur Vivie-Ann Bakos aka BLOND:ISH.
