Binance is currently talking to the Dubai government to sign a memorandum of understanding for crypto-related activities, reported The Business Times, citing sources.
Dubai is regarded as one of the potential locations for Binance’s global headquarters, along with France. Emirati city is likely to be Binance’s headquarters.
Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, Binance’s chief executive and co-founder said, “The government there is very progressive, and it’s a very good business environment”.
Binance reportedly is also in talks with Indonesia’s Bank Central Asia and state-owned Telkom Group to set up a cryptocurrency exchange in the country.
