Canaan Inc., a leading Chinese Bitcoin mining firm, is driving Canaan’s own crypto-mining business in Kazakhstan with the latest Avalon Miner units already in operation, according to an announcement.
Nangeng Zhang, Chairman and CEO of Canaan, said: “As we integrate more industry resources into our operations, we believe this business segment will enable us to revitalize our mining machine inventory, shield us from Bitcoin volatility, and ensure our inventory sufficiency during market upturns”.
The latest move follows the company’s June 11 statement that it will open an after-sale service in Khazhakstan.
The service center will provide the company’s local customers with timely after-sales services, including machine testing, warranty services, machine maintenance, and technical consultations.
Miners using the Company’s Avalon mining machines can use the FMS applications to manage their mining machines in batches, upgrade their mining machine firmware, and modify their mining machines’ configuration information.
To help local miners leverage these FMS tools to better manage their mining machines, the Service Centers’ after-sales service team will also provide training and guidance to local miners as well as their operation and maintenance personnel, the statement said.
