In the metaverse where possibilities are endless, investors see the potential to rent a virtual space for parties with sports stars, private lodges to view sporting events in VR stadiums, or offer key brands a space for sponsorship appearances.
Nate Chastain, the former head of product at New York-based OpenSea, is accused of buying NFTs soon before the company planned to feature them on its homepage, profiting from their exposure and his company’s apparent endorsement, according to the Justice Department.
While a majority know about NFTs, not many in the digital space are still familiar with Impact NFTs.
That means PoolTogether is more than halfway to its goal to raise at least 769 ETH worth roughly $1.5 million to fight what it calls a lawsuit that has “no merit”.
